The University of East Anglia (UEA) is a campus university located 15 minutes away from the centre of Norwich. The university has a strong reputation as a research-intensive institution focusing on real-world issues across a variety of topics including health, climate change, ecology, etc. The Times Higher REF Analysis ranked it tenth for the quality of research output. Apart from research, it provides teaching of the highest quality. The Teaching Excellence Framework awarded it Gold.
The university is split into four faculties with 26 schools in total. Together, they deliver more than 300 courses and disciplines. The educational process is built the way to provide students with the essential skills required to excel at the workplace. Thanks to the UEA’s Career Central service, students are exposed to various work experience opportunities. They are able to explore different work environments and develop networks within the industry.

The campus of the University of East Anglia is spread across 300 acres of beautiful parkland within walking distance from the centre of Norwich. The connection with the rest of the city is provided by public bus services.
Located just two hours from London by train, Norwich is known for its great student experience, friendly atmosphere, and historical charm. The Times recognized Norwich as one of the best cities to live in 2019.
The university’s campus provides access to a range of state-of-the-art facilities. The Sainsbury Centre for Visual arts boasts works of some of the most renowned artists including Henry Moore, Pablo Picasso, and Francis Bacon. The award-winning Sportspark campus is an ideal place for elite athletes and sports enthusiasts alike. It has an Olympic-size swimming pool, running tracks, indoor and outdoor courts, and much more.
The university guarantees rooms for first-year international students in 3,400 rooms; about 30% of the rooms have been recently refurbished. The majority of rooms with a shared kitchen and dining area house up to 10 people. More than 2,000 en-suite options are also available on-campus, in the University Village, and the Norfolk and Suffolk Terraces. Other options include private rented accommodations and homestays with host families.
