With a history that began at the turn of the 20th century, the higher education institution of Exeter received university status in 1955. Today, it is a member of the Russell Group. The European University Association and the AMBA. The University of Exeter divides its facilities across three campuses in the Southwest of England. Jointly, they host around 20,000 students, including 3,000 students of 140 nationalities.
The university is organized into six colleges providing educational opportunities, degrees and research activities in humanities, sciences and social sciences. Thanks to partnerships with counterpart institutions across the globe, the University of Exeter provides a variety of exchange programmes and offers its students a chance to study abroad. On top of that, the university keeps a focus on graduate employment. One of its goals is to help students develop career management skills. It also ensures work placement and internship as part of the learning process.

All three university campuses are located in the Southwest of England. The Streatham campus in Exeter benefits from some of the most beautiful parkland sites in the country. Its second largest St Luke campus is in Exeter as well, in close proximity to the university’s facilities and city infrastructure. The third campus in Falmouth, Cornwall, is shared with Falmouth University. Penryn Campus boasts one of the highest satisfaction levels; its students enjoy a personalised experience and a friendly and atmosphere conducive to study.
The university provides foreign unaccompanied students with guaranteed accommodation if they meet the deadlines. The accommodation is offered in self-catered and catered halls, studio flats, and shared houses. All housing options are located within a few minutes’ walk from university facilities.
Foreign students can avail themselves of pre-sessional and in-sessional language courses covering general social and academic as well as subject specific aspects of English.
